Equitas Law Group is committed to improving access to justice and providing affordable legal services for individuals navigating family law and immigration matters.
Legal Aid
Equitas Law Group accepts legal aid contracts for both family and immigration law through the Legal Services Society. If you have been approved for legal aid, please feel welcome to contact us. We provide a free initial consultation that will not impact your legal aid hours.
If you are a woman with low-income who has experienced family violence, we may be able to provide a referral for assistance to apply for legal aid.
Unbundled Services
Equitas Law Group is committed to making legal services more accessible to lower-income women and families. Services can be provided on an unbundled basis. Our rates are listed below, and we have options for flat fees.

Private Clients
Equitas Law Group accepts private clients and offers various payment plans to suit each individual’s needs and circumstances.
Our standard rate is $200/hr for both full representation and unbundled services. Where tasks could be delegated to a paralegal or legal assistant, we strive to divide work effectively to minimize costs to the client.
We provide discounted rates on a sliding scale beginning at $80/hr for low-income women who are not approved for legal aid. If the only issue is a protection order, our sliding scale begins at $50/hr.
Equitas Law Group is committed to advocating for the interests of women who experienced gendered violence. If this describes your situation, please feel welcome to contact us even if you cannot afford our discounted rate. We strive to provide affordable and accessible service. Subject to our capacity, we may be able to provide summary legal advice and or referrals on a pro-bono or low-bono basis.
We offer a free initial consultation. The consultation is free if you attend even if you choose not to retain our services.
